EMTECH is a financial-technology company founded by Haitian-born entrepreneur Carmelle Cadet, providing digital infrastructure and regulatory-technology platforms for central banks, including central bank digital currency (CBDC) systems. It is headquartered in New York and has worked with central banks internationally. In 2022 it ran a CBDC proof-of-concept for the Haitian market with HaitiPay.
